The Big Give Christmas Challenge

Once again this year, AMEND is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign. We’re aiming to raise vital funds for AMEND’s Research Fund, ensuring that we have grants to award during 2018, AMEND’s 15th anniversary year. Your support of this campaign is vital to helping us continue to this work.

About AMEND’s Research Fund

AMEND has been awarding research grants since 2012. In fact, since 2012, we have given out a total of £75,000 in grants, either as part funding to larger projects, or as sole funding for smaller projects. Click here to read more about the research projects we have funded over the years.

What is the Christmas Challenge?

The Christmas Challenge (the UK’s biggest online match-funding campaign) helps UK-registered charities to raise funds for their projects by doubling donations when the campaign goes live on 28th November. For example, a £100 online donation made to a participating charity during the Christmas Challenge can be doubled to become £200. Nice!

Our Generous Pledgers

The following generous people have pledged £1,830 for our Pledge Pot which will be used to double any donations collected between midday on Giving Tuesday (28th November) and midday on Tuesday 5th December. In addition, we are delighted to have secured further Match Funds of £1,830 from Big Give Champion, The Hospital Saturday Fund, which will also be used to double donations in excess of the Pledge Pot. So there’s an astonishing £3,660 available to double donations made from midday 28th November through to midday on 5 December!
