Big Give Christmas Charity Challenge
This year, we are running a Big Give Christmas Challenge to collect donations to help meet the funding needs of our Counselling Service - one that is under strain from increasing membership and therefore patient need. From 29th November to 6th December your donations will be doubled!

Petra Plodders Complete 100km Trek!
At around midday on Friday 21st October, the AMEND trekking team, the Petra Plodders, descended over 800 stone steps to finally reach the end of their 100km trek, entering into the heart of the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. So far the team has raised a fantastic £14,000 but there is still time to sponsor them!
New Publication on MEN3 (MEN2B)
A new publication, 'Frequency and Impact of Musculoskeletal Symptoms on Quality of Life in MEN2B' has just been published. The article is the culmination of a project by former MSc student, James Henderson from Queen Mary University in London, 'commissioned' by AMEND. Thanks to all those who participated in the research survey. We hope it will highlight the MSK problems experienced by a large number of those with the condition, and ultimately to encourage more research and improve care. The publication is Open Access and can be viewed for free.
Lottery Grant for AMEND!
AMEND has been awarded a grant of £9,090 from the National Lottery Community Fund for our Peer Support Meetings project.
AMEND Attends INCA SummitOn 26-27 September, AMEND CEO Jo Grey, was pleased to attend the first in-person Summit for 3 years of the International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA).
First Three Speakers for 2023 Event Confirmed!
We are pleased to confirm the first three speakers who will be presenting at our 2023 Annual Patient Information Day on Saturday 6th May in central London. Prof Ashley Grossman, Prof Karim Meeran, and Dr Ruth Casey will be hosting patient Q&A sessions on MEN1, MEN2 and PPGL syndromes respectively.
