Injectable Hydrocortisone
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has confirmed an upcoming shortage of hydrocortisone sodium phosphate for emergency injection kits from the end of February 2025, with supply expected to resume in May 2026.
Pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT)
Pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) is prescribed to support adequate digestion in people with pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI), including for patients who take somatostatin analogues [Lanreotide (Somatuline®) / Octreotide (Sandostatin®)] for the treatment of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs). There are supply issues surrounding pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT – under the product brands: Creon®, Nutrizym® and Pancrex®) which is continuing until 2026.

Desmopressin
Desmopressin is a medication used for the treatment of AVP deficiency. Desmopressin 10 microgram/dose nasal spray is currently out of stock, with an anticipated re-supply date of early September 2025.
