AMEND LAUNCHES FUND FOR ENDOCRINE NURSES

AMEND are pleased to announce the launch of a new fund for endocrine nurses.  The Julia Dunn Fund aims to encourage UK-registered nurses to learn about multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders and/or the endocrine tumours associated with MEN.  Named after the late MEN1 patient, Julia Dunn and made possible by the Dunn Houghton Trust, the fund will pay registration fees for up to 3 nurses to attend the Society for Endocrinology's annual National Endocrine Nurses' Conference Residential Course (providing that course is relevant to MEN and/or associated tumours that year).  Conditions apply and certain criteria must be fulfilled.  At present, please contact AMEND for further details - particularly in relation to funding for this year's course on Pituitary Disorders.
