FREE MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL!
As part of AMEND's aim to make the charity's membership fully inclusive to people of all incomes, in May 2008, MEMBERSHIP WAS MADE FREE FOR ALL. This has been achieved thanks to members' generous donations, fundraising and the support of the Houghton Dunn Charitable Trust Fund. In order to join, all you need to do is print, complete, sign and send the appropriate forms. You will then receive a membership card containing your unique membership number and will begin automatically receiving our quarterly newsletters, event invitations, AMEND Counsellor contact information, and other relevant communications and updates from AMEND.
Join - Full Membership:
Benefits in joining AMEND include the following:

Membership is open to both patients and their families and friends worldwide, as well as to medical professionals (please note that medical professionals' benefits will differ due to patient confidentiality).
Registration - In addition, there are 2 categories of registration:
- Website Free-User registration. This is free and allows you to use the Discussion Forum. Follow the instructions on the online Registration Page. Please note: registering online to use the discussion forum will not automatically entitle you to membership benefits; only access to the forum. Please ensure that you download, complete, sign and return the necessary form in order to ensure that you receive full membership benefits. We are currently in the process of migrating our site to our brand new website: during this process, please email Jo Grey when you have completed your online registration so that she can activate your membership. You will not be able to access the Forum without doing this!
- Research Database registration. It is free to register with our confidential Research Database. Download, print, complete and send the appropriate form.
Membership and registration are free to all (national and international), however, donations are always gratefully received, and can be made by cheque (payable to "AMEND" and sent to AMEND, The Warehouse No 1, Draper Street, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 0PG, UK), or by debit/credit card at the Virginmoneygiving website via the Donate page.
If you are a UK tax payer, please, please, please (!) also complete a Gift Aid Form to enable us to claim back tax from the Government at no cost to yourself.
