CHARITY CHALLENGE 2012

NEW!  Costs now confirmed - see below!

10-day 100km Sahara Trek (3-12 November 2012)

Join our team, the 'Maniac Endocrine Nomads' for the experience of a lifetime and help raise £40,000 for MEN research at the same time!

AMEND has teamed up with Discover Adventure Limited to organise this 10-day Saharan challenge for our members and supporters.  (Discover Adventure Limited has extensive experience of organising challenging fundraising events and is ATOL and AITO protected).  The Saharan landscape encountered during this trek varies from stony flat expanse to perfect wind-blown sand dunes, broken only occasionally by an oasis.  The feeling of space and solitude is awesome.  With proud Berbers as our guides and a small caravan of camels to carry our supplies, we will trek 100km through this varied and stunning landscape.  There is also a celebratory team dinner and a free day to explore Marrakesh at the end of our adventure.
